Building works officially start at King’s Academy Primary School

Wednesday 5th September 2018  our brand new Primary school took a step closer to reality when a ground-breaking ceremony was held to commemorate the start of the building works of King's Academy, a new Primary school located in Bracknell Forest that will provide education for children from Reception to Year 6.

The ceremony was attended by the Mayor of Bracknell Forest, Cllr Alvin Finch, the founder and President of King’s Group, Sir Roger Fry and the Principal of King's Academy Binfield, Sarah Howells, among other authorities.

With 1 form of entry, the school will have a capacity of up to 210 students. It will include 7 classrooms a communal hall learning resource centre and a multi use games area (MUGA) together with grassed pitches. The existing mature oak tree will be a key feature of the development and will include seating areas and a wildflower planted habitat zone.

 “We are excited by the plans for the King’s Primary Academy in Bracknell Forest which promises to provide an excellent learning environment for the children of the community We are looking forward to welcoming our first pupils through the door in September 2019”, said Di Smith,   Interim CEO
